Curious?

As I have promised in the last article, I would like to talk about the title of this blog.


My blog title, as you can see is "Curiouser and Curiouser".
Of course, this is grammatically wrong and people would never say such a thing as "curiouser".

But why this titile?


This phrase was quoted from the story, "Alice's adventures in Wonderland" which many people shorten it and call it "Alice in Wonderland".

Alice, is the book I very like from when I was little and I still am loving it very much.
There are many riddles and phrases that the author, Lewis Carroll play with in the text. Because of this, I hear that it is really difficult to translate this book into other languages.

From then and until now, this book is my favorite of all the books and it has a very strong and big impact towards my life.
In fact, it is not too much to say that this is where I started to have my interest towards literature and translation.
